This 24 page paper examines contemporary Egyptian art from a global perspective, including looking at the work of artists such as Abdel Wahab Abdel Mohsen and Mostafa Abdel Moity. The papr starts by looking at the influence of the west on these artists, including the influence of the minimalism and abstract styles.
