in the nineties in black and white film; through a
series of events two nineties teenagers are
transported into the fifties world of sitcom
television and, "gee whiz, Dad," and poodle skirts.
After the initial despair and amazement -
"I guess we are safe we are in a bowling alley,
says one. The change that "Bud" and "Mary Sue"
have brought would not be as powerful, if the color
was not an explanation point to the action, and in
fact to some degree the "visual verbage" of the
