This 3 page research paper, first of all relates the main tenet of Dollard's frustration-aggression theory for explaining racism, as this theory describes how people displace their frustration over such things as economic problems onto weaker ethnic/racial groups. This discussion is offered in reference to the questions: Are the frustrations of many Americans being unfairly displaced toward certain racial and ethnic groups? Or, have other social groups become the primary targets?
