A 5 page film review of Mrs. Doubtfire (1993, directed by Christ Columbus), which is an awarding-winning comedy that critics have hailed as one of the finest and funniest movies of all time. It stars the incredibly funny comedian Robin Williams who plans Daniel Hillard, an out-of-work actor. Daniel disguises himself as Mrs. Euphegenia Doubtfire in order to win a job as a housekeeper/nanny to his three children and therefore stay in their lives on a daily basis, as his wife is awarded sole custody in a messy divorce. While this movie is extremely funny, it works on a variety of levels to present a telling commentary on American society, parenthood and the effect that divorce has both children and parents. No additional sources cited.
