A 5 page comparison of these Sixteenth Century works. The author contends that despite common perception, each of these works was written with the intent of providing insight to virtuosity and morality. They differ considerably, however, as to the exact nature of this insight. Although Machievelli is often looked at as being a man for whom the end justified the means regardless of how immoral and condemnable those means may have been, he could also be contended to be a man of virtue and high morals. Bibliography lists 8 sources.
