As it was, the premature leak served to threaten everyone who attended the meeting without any of them truly knowing why they were on guard, making them hostile and unyielding under the best of circumstances; within minutes, Harry had alienated his entire collection of sales engineers without ever having the opportunity to discuss with them the comprehensive components of his proposal.
