A 5 page analyses of this sometimes heart-rending story of a young Japanese man in the United States during and after World War II. An attempt to bargain with the federal government when they tried to draft him he was sentenced to prison. Upon returning to the old neighborhood after the War, he found himself very nearly ostracized by fellow Japanese as well as Americans of other races. The writer describes his story of obstacles, challenges, hate, prejudice and resentments.
