Griffith's Birth of a Nation (1915); Charlie Chaplin's The Immigrant (1917) and Shoulder Arms (1918); Buster Keaton's Sherlock Jr. (1924); and Little Caesar (1931) starring Douglas Fairbanks and E.G.
