A 5 page paper discussing the author's ability to be objective in relaying the story of her Japanese American family's internment at Topaz, Utah, during
World War II. Yoshiko's book is not fully objective and she was likely too closely involved
to be able to detach herself from the writing of it. What is more the marvel is that it is not
filled with the same racial bitterness and hatred that placed her and her family in Utah during
the war years. Bibliography lists 1 source.
